Born in Sint-Amandsberg on 22 October 1969 at 4am, Helmut is the son of Luc Lotigiers and Rita Lagrou. Helmut has 4 brothers: Johan, Kurt, James and Anthony (James and Anthony are halfbrothers).

Helmut married Kimberly Grosman on 19 June 1990 and together they have a daugher, Messalina. She was born on 22 october 1991 - a special birthday surprise for dad. Helmut seperated from Kimberly in January 1998 and they have sinced divorced.

Helmut now lives in Merelbeke (near Gent,Oost-Vlaanderen) and here he is building a new house.

Having been engaged to Carol Jane Poe for some time, it was announced on 16 November 2000 that Helmut Lotti and Carol Jane Poe will marry on the 16 February 2001, at a very private cermony. The 16 February is also the date of Carol's birthday.


Education

Second Grade as Languages Secretary Technician and Computer Technics.


Musical Preferences

Helmut embrasses many types of music but the preferences are Elvis Presley, Perry Como and Mario Lanzo.


The Early Days

In 1988, under the alias of Kevin Leach, Helmut appears at a regional soundmixcircuit-show with his Elvis imitation. This leads to the Runners-Up spot in the Dutch KRO-Soundmixshow. Soon after his first singles are climbing the charts.


Good and Bad

By his own admission, Helmut describes his best side to be "A hard worker". A his worst side to be "tendency to panic when in a difficult situation".
